Angela, who came to a women’s survival skills day here:

“I learned so much, and had a great time, a truly wonderful pleasure to spend the afternoon with new friends who all shared the same passion, to be safe and enjoy being outdoors and with nature, but we were also so individual too.”

Women-only bushcraft. Sound good?

A few years ago, we started running annual women-only bushcraft skills days for International Women’s Day.

They’ve been really popular - and this last we even begun doing overnighters.

We think there’s a lot of women in the area who’d love to practice survival skills in our safe, supportive, light-hearted environment. One of our instructors is setting up a regular club, so what will it be like and who can come?

It’s for Women aged 18 years and over who want to learn new skills, talk about skills they have or at least think they have, and you can even bring along a piece of equipment to show maybe to show off or indeed to ask what it does?

When our annual celebration of International Women’s Day has happened with some fun in the woods we will be releasing the dates, times and other details of the club and how to get involved.

In the first instance, book yourself onto our event in March and join our movement towards confidence in your own abilities in the wilderness.

Tell us you’re interested.

This can only happen if local women want it to. Use the form below to tell us you’re interested in a women-only bushcraft club, and we’ll keep you updated by email.
