Survival
Relight your fire
Calling all outlaws, wanderers, curious minds and wild hearts. Can you light a fire without matches? Or survive a week alone in the woods? You could learn.
The art of survival, also known as bushcraft, is often seen as a ‘macho’ thing. You might think of big knives, skinning deer, unsavoury snacks and weird drinks (we blame Bear Grylls for that one). We want to change that.
At White Dragon, bushcraft is about equipping yourself with knowledge, confidence, and respect when it comes to wild environments. With the right approach, anyone can raise their odds of getting through a tricky situation by better understanding the world around them.
Our sessions blend fun and adventure with useful skill-building - it’s not about having loads of kit, and there’s no macho nonsense!
£40 day pass · Women 18 + only · Outdoors
Build confidence, not bravado. Spend an easy-going afternoon learning real bushcraft in five peaceful acres of private woodland, in a women-only group led by expert instructor Jess. You will be instructed in outdoor safety and learn how to use a knife, axe, fire lighters of numerous types and how to collect and treat water.
This is a stand alone experience but also kicks off the start of our Women’s only bushcraft club to be held monthly from April.
