This is a fantastic experience for any woman who wants to get into bushcraft, go on a big hike or camping trip, feel stronger and more self-sufficient in life, learn new and interesting things, get back to nature, or just have a lovely time in beautiful surroundings with likeminded people!
For the first time, we invite you to upgrade your booking to an incredible overnight survival experience this year. Our instructors will help get you ready for the night with more advanced shelter-building, fire-pit prep and cooking your evening meal.
Dragon Wood is private, only accessed by White Dragon Activity Centre, and no other groups will be booked in during your overnight stay. There are also no nearby roads, so you’ll find the wood magically peaceful and wild at night. Keep your ears and eyes peeled for the badgers, owls, buzzards, deer, foxes and voles that call these five acres home!
After an exciting night under the stars, you’ll feast on a good campfire breakfast before returning to civilisation with new skills, new confidence, and tales to tell.
Why you’ll love it
Zero macho vibes – laughter, a supportive group and no such thing as a silly question.
Hands-on essentials – use knives, saws and axes confidently, build a shelter, light a steady fire, find fresh water
S’mores & tea included – successfully get your fire going, then taste the reward.
Upgrade to a sleep-out – stay under the stars, cook camp supper and wake to a woodland breakfast.
Wild yet safe – instructor within whistle range, loo on site, safe and private site.
